In the final days of World War II, hundreds of Scandinavian volunteers risk their lives in a daring humanitarian mission led by Count Folke Bernadotte.

Across war-torn Europe,
thousands of concentration camp prisoners are to be evacuated and brought to safety in an operation that would become known as The White Buses.

Among them is
Dagmar, a young woman who disguises herself as a nurse and lies her way onto the convoy in a desperate attempt to save her husband from certain death. But as the mission unfolds, Dagmar realizes that to save the man she loves, she is endangering thousands of lives — and the entire operation itself.

Ultimately, she is
faced with the greatest dilemma of all. The White Buses is a story of humanity, courage, and love — a testament to the hundreds of Scandinavians who took part in one of the most extraordinary civilian rescue missions of all time.
