Stockholm Nordic Shorts spotlights the most original and tonally precise Nordic short films.
Launched in 2025 as an Official Competition at Stockholm International Film Festival, the initiative’s purpose is to connect visionary directors from across the Nordic countries and position their work in front of the industry. Providing a platform to incentivise creative exposure and new relationships with partners and decision-makers.
Nominated films receive their premiere screening during Stockholm Industry Days, with producers, distributors, festival programmers and industry professionals in attendance.
The winner will be announced during the festival’s official award ceremony.
Submissions are open until September 15, via FilmFreeway at no cost.
